Recipe • Coconut flour choco cookies (gluten-free!)

Soft as a mini cake.

20170311_113136

In the past few weeks I have been experimenting with different types of flour -and as a coconut lover, coconut flour was one of the first ones I got!

I have already made this recipe 4 times and every time, the cookies *magically* disappear in just one hour. This recipe is amazingly fast and easy. You can even wake up in the morning, combine and bake the ingredients, and until you get ready for the day, the cookies will be also ready for consumption. Such a hit!

Let us start!

Prague: Intro (part 1/3)

Holidays. What a beautiful, beautiful word.

img_7344

For these inter-semestral holidays, we chose Prague.

The capital city of the Czech Republic. A beautiful city with a strong character, that combines the old with the new. Magnificent combination of architectural styles: Gothic, Neo-Gothic, Neo-Classical, Art Nouveau… Friendly people. Mouth watering food. Excellent beer. Heavenly music. A city of contrasts, which all blend together to create a burst of colours, light and magic!

With hundreds of photos taken, and my mind filled with experiences, I have decided to make a Special Extra on Prague.

L’ Occitane en Provence: 3 products I got this week

Is this my new face stable?!

img_6937

So basically this happened: I have been using and loving my La Roche Posay Effaclar Mat cream for the past 4 years, or so. Day and night, winter or summer, this has been my face companion for the past few years. And it was absolutely enough -it was hydrating my face, without clogging the pores, without weighting it down, without making it shiny. Plus, it was a great makeup base.

But recently I have been noticing that my skin did not feel as hydrated as it used to be. There were dry patches here and there, as well as a feeling of tension. Perhaps it’s because of the cold -or my skin just got used to it. In any case, I decided to try out another product, and after some “research”, I decided to give L’ Occitane a chance.

Recipe • Matcha chai latte

It is tasty, relaxing and helps you concentrate better.

Examination period is here and it is going to last for a while. So! Let’s organize ourselves, people! Drinking coffee all day long is not a solution. Sometimes we drink it out of habit, whereas in reality we just need something to drink and refresh us. Tea and herbal infusions are a good alternative, but have you ever tried matcha chai latte? If not, here is a recipe for you!

Memories from Christmas 2016 (with photos & thoughts)

It’s been almost a month since Christmas 2016, and I honestly cannot understand how time flies by so fast. We think we can pin time down and control it, by filling out to-do lists and every day schedules, which we anxiously try to keep up with -but, truth is, the more we try to grab it, the easier it slips away.

In this entry, I want to share with you some photos from the Christmas period which just passed. Some of them are taken by my good friend, Antigoni.

I hope you enjoy them and travel with me, from North Europe to South -and back, again! : )

10 movie night ideas

(Yea, I couldn’t think of a more attractive title.)

Hey everyone and welcome back to my blog! Happy 2017!

It’s crystal clear (-8°C “crystal”, to be precise) that winter is here and doesn’t seem to leave anytime soon. What better excuse do you have, to wrap yourself around your warmest blanket and enjoy a good film? Or invite your friends over and have a beer&popcorn movie marathon?

In this entry, I am going to give you some movie recommendations. Just a quick list of good movies, in case you are too bored to google around. Animations are not included here -I have a whole bunch of favourites, so I’ll make another list for them.

Here we go, then! (I have linked all the titles to imdb, so click on them for more info)

#Bleekend ep.1: Visit to Schloss Hof

Saturday, 26/11/2016

img_6775-copy

Hey everyone!

Oh my. It’s been a month since I last posted here. Life can get too busy, sometimes.

But! Last Saturday, we decided to take a day off and spend some quality time, doing something different. The next 3 weeks before Christmas will be tough in the Uni, so it was a good chance to have a small getaway and clear our minds from all the everyday stress.

While I was checking some webpages a few days ago, I discovered a perfect little Christmas market, in Austria, just next to the border of Slovakia. Austria is famous for its Christmas markets, which are SO many, I can’t even begin. So, when I first saw this particular market, I knew we shouldn’t miss the chance of visiting it.

DIY: Halloween candle holders

Meet Frankie, Mr. Pumpkin and Ghost Boo!

Ok, let me set things straight. I was never a big-Halloween-fan -i.e. I am not doing the dressing-up thing, nor the treat-or-trick thing. I haven’t even carved a pumpkin. But these days, I got really pumped up about making something Halloweenish -but something that can find a place in my home for more than the 31st of October.

So when I stumbled upon this recipe here, I thought “Well, well! These would be make some pretty neat candle holders!”

They are soooo incredibly simple and such a wonderful, warm addition to your house. I made all 3 of them in under 30 minutes, and you can certainly make them even faster. Just pop some spooky-wooky Halloween music on, and let’s get started!
