(Yea, I couldn’t think of a more attractive title.)
Hey everyone and welcome back to my blog! Happy 2017!
It’s crystal clear (-8°C “crystal”, to be precise) that winter is here and doesn’t seem to leave anytime soon. What better excuse do you have, to wrap yourself around your warmest blanket and enjoy a good film? Or invite your friends over and have a beer&popcorn movie marathon?
In this entry, I am going to give you some movie recommendations. Just a quick list of good movies, in case you are too bored to google around. Animations are not included here -I have a whole bunch of favourites, so I’ll make another list for them.
Here we go, then! (I have linked all the titles to imdb, so click on them for more info)
If anyone tells me “Hey, I was thinking of watching a movie tonight. Any suggestions?”, this is the one I will say immediately. Enough said.

Meet Frankie, Mr. Pumpkin and Ghost Boo!
Ok, let me set things straight. I was never a big-Halloween-fan -i.e. I am not doing the dressing-up thing, nor the treat-or-trick thing. I haven’t even carved a pumpkin. But these days, I got really pumped up about making something Halloweenish -but something that can find a place in my home for more than the 31st of October.
So when I stumbled upon this recipe here, I thought “Well, well! These would be make some pretty neat candle holders!”
They are soooo incredibly simple and such a wonderful, warm addition to your house. I made all 3 of them in under 30 minutes, and you can certainly make them even faster. Just pop some spooky-wooky Halloween music on, and let’s get started!

I have already left the South and have returned to the North. I am now in Bratislava, and I have to say that the weather is unexpectedly warm here. Last Saturday, we decided to visit the Slovak National Museum. The day was quite eventful and we kept postponing the visit, but in the end we made it!

If you are one of the lucky ones who have a balcony in their apartment, don’t let it go unused. During summertime, it can be a perfect spot for relaxation, reading a book, drinking cocktails or just hang out with your S.O. or friends. Even if it is a small one, you can still take some steps to pump it up and get the most out of it. In this entry, I will give you some basic tips, which you can alter to match your personal style.

Out of all the words in the dictionary, one that I really like is “change”. I like change and I am enthusiastically going after it, especially when it comes to my personal space. I keep on changing the decoration every now and then, sometimes radically, some other times at a more basic level. In any of these cases, change comes as a breath of fresh air to me, I just adore how refreshed my personal space looks afterwards -and it also gives my working/studying attitude a huge boost and inspiration!
Being in my hometown these past weeks, I can’t help but notice how much my room has changed. As I moved from childhood to my teen years, and then to my adult years, the decoration of my room -as a direct manifestation of my personal taste- has changed, to express my individual style.
However, there are a few things that I have kept throughout the years, and I still enjoy having. Here are 3 of them!

You know these long and lazy summer days when you wake up and there is nothing written on your daily organiser? No responsibilities, no chores, nothing, zero.
As a uni student I can *luckily* still enjoy some days like that. However, after a few days the gap schedule gets boring -after all, being restless and fully occupied is super exhausting, but being absolutely unproductive is also exhausting.
So! To fight the spirit of unproductiveness I decided to start writing down the “Goal of the day”. As the name conveys, from today and till the end of my summer holidays I will try to fulfil one special goal every day! It doesn’t have to be something big, just something special that I don’t usually do. Moreover, because I am feeling super productive today, I will set and try to fulfil 3 goals. Oooh yeah!
The goals are:
