Who doesn’t love chocolate? And especially now that it’s summer, who wouldn’t want a cold chocolate “bonjour” treat in the morning -or any other time of the day?

This recipe is perfect for all the chocolate lovers. It is vegan, highly nutritious and by making small alterations in the ingredients you can easily fit it into your individual taste.

*psst!* And even if you are not a chocolate lover, there are still many chances you are going to like it, so why not give it a try?

Let’s start!

For a single portion of this choco-chia seed pudding, you are going to need:

2 Tbsp chia seeds

1/2 Tbsp pure cocoa powder

1/2 tsp cinnamon

1 Tbsp honey

1/2 cup soy milk

  1. Choose your favourite bowl and combine all the ingredients. Don’t worry if they are not perfectly combined, some bumps of cocoa powder won’t matter.
  2. Cover it up and then place it in the fridge for at least 3-5 hours. You can even prepare it the night before and have delicious breakfast waiting for you in the morning. Simple and fast!

Alternatively, you can blend them together before you place them in the bowl, for a smoother result. You can make any alteration you want: use coconut or almond milk, reduce the amount of honey or substitute it with maple syrup, add fruit, raisins, walnuts… there are endless possibilities waiting for you!
